Students at universities become mainly focused on "practical knowledge" that leads to high paid jobs. The values by which we guide our technological development and application become afterthoughts. We must wonder if technology now controls human life more than humans control technology.

Does seem like change is rampent and that we are out of control of it. But hasn't it always been so. Your thoughts and words are reassuring. The trouble continues and maybe asking a lot of questions will bring us at least temporary answers to settle our hearts and minds for at least one day and one evening.

We cannot depend on a goverment run by people who preach that you cannot depend on the goverment. What we can depend on is these people to ruin us for their own purposes.
Ideologies are made, and made purposefully.
What we do depend on has always been our minds. Close your mind to the messages, and life will go on regardless of external conditions.
I'm not sure that questions bring us "answers". But, if we ask enough questions we get used to living with uncertainty - living without answers. Perhaps, this gives a different kind of "answer"; one that is actually closer to reality. In surrender to reality there is the possibility of profound peace.
